Your privacy is important to us and we believe in being transparent, so we have developed this privacy policy to explain what types of information we collect and what we do with it. By using this site, you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure, and use of your information as it is described in this privacy policy.

If you have questions or suggestions regarding this privacy policy or anything it details, please feel free to contact us.

Account Registration

We do not require you to create an account to read the Aetherplane Wiki or use the content within it. At this time, if you would like to contribute to the wiki, you will be required to create an account.

You do NOT have to provide your real name, address, date of birth, or credit card information to register for an account, however you WILL be required to provide a username, password, and valid email address. Only your username will be publicly visible. A password is used to verify the account is yours, when logging in. Your email address is only used to verify that you are not a spam robot, and to facilitate password recovery.

Your IP address is temporarily recorded to facilitate the registration process and may be used (in association with your username) to investigate, if abuse or illegal activity is suspected.

Account Deletion

User accounts can't be deleted once they have been created. Contributions to the Aetherplane Wiki must be associated with an author, which prevents complete deletion of the account. Our administrators can assist with renaming your account, however it may still be possible to identify a link between new and old usernames.
